Timeless Sergio Mendes
Press Release reports: It's not often an album comes along that truly blends two distinct cultures in an innovative way. That album is TIMELESS by SERGIO MENDES, due out on February 14 as a co-release by Concord Records and Starbucks Hear Music.

Produced by and featuring will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, TIMELESS is a wholly original blend of music from one of the most internationally successful Brazilian musicians of all time, SERGIO MENDES, who--40 years ago--brought Brasil '66 and "Mas Que Nada" to the world. Will and Sergio brought in the Black Eyed Peas, one of hip-hop's premier artists, and also recruited some of pop music's biggest artists, each a Sergio fan, to contribute to various tracks, including Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, india.arie, Black Thought of The Roots, John Legend, Chali 2na of Jurassic 5, Jill Scott, and Q-Tip, among others. Trail Mix
Harper PR reports: Thundering hoofs, the glory of nature, and riding 'as one' with a favorite horse. For many of today's top musicians, there's no better muse. On Sunday, January 29, 2006, from 8-10 PM (ET/PT), Animal Planet explores the remarkable bond that some of music's modern stars share with their horses in the world premiere of TRAIL MIX. At the heart of this two-hour, high-definition special is Linda Eder, an acclaimed singer and passionate equestrian who sets out on a worldwide journey to interview rock stars, pop singers and other music phenoms to learn about the impact horses have had on their lives on and off the stage.

The eclectic mix of featured musical artists include nine-time Grammy winner and rock siren Sheryl Crow, former Matchbox Twenty front-man and solo recording artist Rob Thomas; two-time Grammy winner and cross-over country music sweetheart LeAnn Rimes; solo recording artist and legendary lead guitarist of rock super band Aerosmith, Joe Perry; Grammy winning singer/songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter; and world-renowned Irish tenor Ronan Tynan. With the help of host Linda Eder, these stars reveal a rarely-seen side of themselves as they talk about their passion, explain how horses rejuvenate their art and share their most compelling stories about the horses they have known, to reveal surprising details about their own personal lives. Each interview culminates in a one-of-a-kind music video featuring a montage of exclusive footage and outtakes of the singers and their horses. Lamb of God Deluxe Reissue
Prosthetic Records reports: Prosthetic Records is proud to announce a deluxe reissuing of LAMB OF GOD's influential and highly-lauded debut album, New American Gospel on April 4, 2006.

Remastered and repackaged with four bonus tracks, exclusive liner notes from the band, and the video for the proven classic "Black Label," alongside a re-imaging facelift from longtime band collaborator Ken Adams, LAMB OF GOD's now famous debut album finally gets the treatment it deserves in 2006. The music on New American Gospel has quickly become both essential and classic metal material, having already helped to revitalize and re-inspire a once stale American metal scene and assist in usher in this decade's New Wave of American Heavy Metal and forever leaving its mark on the worldwide metal scene. With the band's brand of death-influenced thrash metal with hardcore grooves, and a plethora of devastating live shows through the band's diehard work ethic, LAMB OF GOD continues to wave the flag for uncompromisingly heavy music, even half a decade after the band's breakthrough album.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
