(AP) The pianist Yanni was arrested at his Manalapan home after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, authorities said.
Yanni, whose legal name is John Yanni Christopher, was arrested early Friday and faces a domestic battery charge, according to a police report.[see full story for more]

It is disgusting to see incidences like this happen all the time. I think these allegations are totally false, she is using Yanni to get to his fame/fortune, and probably realized she was not getting what she expected to accomplish she probably masterminded the whole incident to tarnish Yanni's image. I was surprised to read on "how conveniently" she had a cell phone to call police in the bathroom while the supposed incident was happening. Yanni is such a wonderful person which can be witnessed by his music. I have also met him in person and felt what a down-to-earth, really nice guy he really is. Hang in there Yanni, we love you and believe in you.

I THINK THESE ALLEGATIONS ARE FALSE. SEEMS LIKE HE DID THE RIGHT THING IN ASKING HER TO LEAVE HIS HOME. SHE IS JUST TRYING TO RUIN HIM BECAUSE SHE IS MAD. IF HE DOESN'T WANT HER SHE SHOULD ACCEPT IT AN MOVE ON. SHE PROBABLY JUST WANTS HIS MONEY ANYWAY. YANNI CAN HAVE ALMOST ANYONE HE WANTS AND SHE KNOWS IT. I AM STILL A HUGE FAN AND I DON'T BELIEVE THESE MADE UP CHARGES AT ALL. YANNI IS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND IT SHOWS THROUGH HIS MUSIC. HANG IN THERE YANNI, YOUR FANS BELIEVE IN YOU !
