Press Release reports: As they gear up to
headline the Family Values Tour this summer, Korn will release a new DVD
titled Live On The Other Side on June 20th. The DVD features a special
in-flight performance where 50 contest winners from Europe joined Korn
on a private 757 jet as the band makes their way to deliver an unforgettable,
sold-out performance at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom. Live On The
Other Side will also include bonus extras such as rare behind-the-scenes
footage, never before seen interviews with the band members, music videos
and more. On June 19, the eve of the DVD’s release, Korn fans can catch
an exclusive world premiere of the program in over 100 movie theatres in

Press Release reports: Having spent the last
few months playing to enthusiastic and full house crowds at Irving Plaza
in New York, the House of Blues in Los Angeles, and the historic Fillmore
in San Francisco, Dead Kennedys are excited to announce several tour dates
in Europe, including a headlining slot at Hellfest 2006 in Nantes, France
and the Furia Sound Festival in Paris, France.
The tour begins on June 22nd in Zurich,
Switzerland and then travels to Bregenz, Austria, and then headlining on
Saturday at the Furia Sound Festival in Paris, playing with Fishbone and
GBH, and finally to Nantes on June 25, where Dead Kennedys will share the
Hellfest main stage with other legendary bands such as Motorhead, Agnostic
Front, Alice In Chains, Obituary and, well... Korn.[see full story for

Epic reports: Famed guitarist, JOE SATRIANI,
gave fans the chance to win a rare customized and autographed Ibanez guitar,
designed to commemorate the release of SATRIANI's 12th solo album, Super
Colossal, while also supporting music education. During the tour, fans
were able to purchase raffle tickets for $10, giving them a once in a lifetime
chance to win. The prized guitar is one of only 10 Super Colossal Joe Satriani
Signature Ibanez Guitars that were custom made featuring the album's cover
artwork.
The raffle began on April 1st in Denver,
CO, the tour's first stop. Raffle sales ran throughout the tour, ending
with the final show in San Francisco on May 13th, where the drawing took
place. The lucky winner was John Sobczak from Kingston, NH. John attended
the Boston tour stop with his son Michael, a student at The Berklee School
of Music. As it turns out, John bought the ticket for his son and will
now present Michael with the prized guitar at his 21st birthday celebration

to announce a very rare signing with Ministry on Thursday, May 18. Al Jourgensen

Press Release reports: On July 18th, 2006,
One Dead Three Wounded will release Moving Units, their sophomore effort
on New Jersey-based 1x1 Music. “We spent more time on this record… a year…it
makes for a better record,” says vocalist Tim Zahodski. “It’s more aggressive,
pissed off, cynical…and it’s better written.” Continuing in the band’s
unique style, Moving Units is a metal/hardcore fan’s fantasy album: the
bastard child of Southern grooves and sledgehammer breakdowns.
“Moving Units is our reaction to the insincerity
of the business side of music. We've never been in a position where that
mattered. It's a record that really questions our ethics and our place
as apart of the industry. It also serves as a reminder for our future selves
to not get sucked into it all. I want it to remind us what motivated us
to play music to begin with: five kids in a van, in a basement, or a hall

The End Records reports: Canada's pioneering
metal band VOIVOD has teamed up with mp3.com to host a 5-minute trailer
about the making of the band's much-anticipated new album 'KATORZ,' set
for release in North America on July 25th, 2006 (via THE END RECORDS)
The 5-minute trailer - containing footage
from a documentary in the works about the life of VOIVOD guitarist Denis
'Piggy' D'Amour -- was assembled and directed by Canadian documentary filmmaker
Sam Dunn (Metal: A Headbanger's Journey), who's stellar film includes the

antiMusic reports: A lot of people work hard
to make antiMusic what it is. So with our 8th nniversary we felt it was
time to spotlight each writer so you can get to know them a little better.
Over the last few weeks we have been posting a small portion of each staff
person's new profile page. We conclude today with this final installment,
so let's get to know Jacob aka Blackwasp a little better.
Jacob is from Indiana and has been with
antiMusic since June of last year. The first album he purchased was Black
Sabbath's self-titled and his first concert was The Elms in 2002. He lists
Modest Mouse, Devendra Banhart, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Ween, Sufjan Stevens,
Wilco, Radiohead, Joanna Newsom, Bright Eyes, and Animal Collective as
his Top 10 Favorite artists. Personal theme song is "If You're Feeling
Sinister" by Belle & Sebastian and his favorite part of antiMusic is
"Keavin, the ringleader" Lyrics that he can relate to is what he finds
