(Candlelight Records) Due to overwhelming sales on previously announced Emperor shows in New York City and Los Angeles, Candlelight Records today confirms additional shows in each city to meet fan demand. Momentum for ticket sales in the first hours on sale in New York had fans buying tickets at a rate of 1 every six minutes. BB Kings talent buyer Toffer Christensen says, "we knew going in that the date would be a big event for metal fans, but the initial demand far exceeded our estimate. The fans are clamoring to see their Emperor. These shows could easily be sold out in the next month."
Ticket sales in Los Angeles rivalled New York City where fans lined up for Key Club's box office opening. First day sales registered over 200 tickets for the 800 capacity venue eight months prior to the show.The complete list of confirmed shows are noted below.
Thursday, July 13 - BB Kings Blues Club, New York NY (NEW)
Friday, July 14 - BB Kings Blues Club, New York NY
Sunday, July 16 - Key Club, Los Angeles CA
Monday, July 17 - House of Blues, Los Angeles CA (NEW)
