The world of sports and rock unite for Canadian music fans with theScore Rocks, a compilation featuring rock and rock leaning pop acts which will be released on April 19th. Here is the official word:

Warner Music Canada along with EMI Music Canada & Universal Music Canada, have announced the release of a new compilation project, theScore Rocks, in partnership with Score Media Inc.

Building on the growing popularity of theScore Music Series, a collection of interviews where some of the biggest rock stars in the world reveal their true colours as die hard sports fans, theScore Rocks features a wide array of top mainstream and modern rock artists including Nickelback, Alice In Chains, Disturbed, Billy Talent, Rise Against, Slash, Shinedown, Weezer, My Darkest Days, Stone Sour, Sick Puppies, Finger Eleven, The Reason, Metric, Saving Abel, Tokyo Police Club, Thirty Seconds To Mars and Art Of Dying.

Sports fans love their favourite bands as much as their favourite teams - this album serves as the perfect synergy between music and sports.
