Calvin Harris Remixes The Killers
. The remix serves as a bonus track for the deluxe edition of the Vegas rock band's best of compilation, Direct Hits, Nov. 11. Along with Harris' remix, the expanded version features the original demo of "Mr. Brightside" and two new songs: "Just Another Girl" and the recently released "Shot At The Night," produced by M83. In a recent interview with Radio.com, Killers frontman Brandon Flowers said this greatest hits collection could be the key to what the band decides to do next. "I feel like this puts a long of things in perspective," he said of Direct Hits' place in the Killers canon."When I look at it, I'm really proud of it, but I'm also really excited about evolving and growing. I look at the songs that maybe are my favorites on it, and maybe I'm wondering if I need to conjure up those spirits, if they're still in there." Listen to a preview of the track.
