.
(Classic Rock) Veteran bluesman Robert Cray will release his 19th studio album, In My Soul, on April 1st in North America and March 31st in Europe, ahead of a UK tour in May.

He recorded the ten-track work with bassist Richard Cousins, returned former keyboardist Dover Weinberg and recently-added drummer Les Falconer.

Cray says in a promo video: "We don't come in with a direction; we come in with a bunch of songs we show to one another a week prior to coming into the studio."

He adds of producer Steve Jordan: "I like the way he does it; I like the way he's involved like the fifth member of the band."
