Singled Out: Carousels & Limousines
. "Strange Love is an uncharacteristic song for us, it is unlike our usual loud guitar based songs. I wrote it when I had just got back from New York and was jet lagged and groggy after a nap. Me and Dom recorded a demo of it a few days later which ended up being the version you hear on the single. I could try to make up something profound about what the lyrics mean but the truth really is that it's complete and utter nonsense about a crazy guy going for a walk in the sun who may or may not have been experimenting with illicit substances. I like to imagine him being somewhere like portobello road drinking rum out of a coconut with a big toothy grin on his face. " Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself here and learn more about the group right here!
