Beastie Boys' 'Paul's Boutique' to Get NYC Mural For 25th Anniversary

(Radio.com) On the 25th anniversary of the release of the Beastie Boys' seminal hip-hop album Paul's Boutique, some movement to cement the corner depicted on that album's cover as part of the trio's legacy is being made.

The current property owner of the street corner in New York City has announced that a mural will be put up celebrating both the group and the album, CoS notes.

The art piece will cover the outside wall of Wolfnights, a sandwich shop that sits on the corner of Rivington and Ludlow streets - the spot once occupied by Lee's Sportswear. Artist Danielle Mastrion started the project Saturday at 11 a.m. more on this story
