Mud Morganfield and Kim Wilson Release Muddy Waters Cover
. Label boss and producer David Earl says the project came about after the launch of Morganfield's album Son Of The 7th Son and the Fabulous Thunderbirds' On The Verge. "The phone was ringing off the hook," Earl recalls. "The subject was always the same - 'You have to get Mud and Kim to do an album together.'" The pair are joined on For Pops by Chicago blues guitarists Billy Flynn and Rusty Zinn, pianist Barrelhouse Chuck, bassist Steve Gomes and drummer Robb Stupka. Check out the song and read more here.
