Weezer Share Clip of New Song 'Ain't Got Nobody'
. Occasionally that'll mean new material, as with this week's episode. In a new clip, the rock band released a small snippet of a new song titled "Ain't Got Nobody." The 38-second video, in which about half is the new song at hand, features an old Ford getting started up through a black-and-white lens. Fiddling with the radio, the driver eventually settles on the Weezer track, which is equal parts familiar and new at this point, given its typical chugging guitar sound despite being unreleased until now. A choir of backing vocals from the band surface a little ways later that vocalizes the song's title before frontman Rivers Cuomo croons the chorus: "Ain't got nobody, ain't got nobody / Ain't got nobody to really love me." The video ends with an odd closeup of Cuomo's face. It's actually the second straight Weezer Wednesday video to reveal new material. Last week's clip showcased "The Waste Land," which included ominous guitar and drums - but no vocals, unlike this week's. Check out the song and clip here.
