(Radio.com) Way back in the year 2000, Almost Famous was notably the first film to get the go-ahead from Led Zeppelin to use their music in a film. 15 years later, the former Zep frontman Robert Plant is going a step further and appearing in the upcoming British indie comedy, Doreen: The Movie.

The film, which is based on a popular YouTube character played by Gill Jordan that's inspired from a Birmingham Mail columnist, is using the cameo prominently in the movie's promotion, revealing Plant's appearance in the preview clip.

In the film, Plant plays an asphalt salesman from, wait for it, Black Dog Tarmac Ltd. When rejected for the sale of his product, he leaves a business card reading "Your 'Driveway to Heaven.'" Doreen never gets up to see Plant, despite the fact she is reading a magazine devoted to him. The film opens in the UK on October 17. Watch Plant's cameo from the film here.
