It's been a while since TTEOTD's last album Bloodlust, but upon hearing Malice you will hear why the gap exists. The brute force behind this band makes for a near-orgasmic feeling of power that flows from your inner ear down to your toes. Each track on this album punches your head causing serious neural damage... but the good kind. The moment you realize the album is done, you have to take a step back and say to yourself, "Damn, that was a tasty album. Can I have some more?" (remember, you're brain damaged, so talking to no one, or maybe an imaginary over-lord is okay) When you finally manage to hear anything outside of the incredible breakdowns and deliciously-awesome riffs from the album, you'll understand why the brain damage you received was a blessing in disguise.
In a continuous flow, TTEOTD manages to take Malice a step further in making any listener know that they are a force to be reckoned with and that they need to blast your head a bit to make sure you know it. Having seeing these guys play at Skelletones in Grand Rapids, MI, I can say first hand that the pure reeking smell of metal is emitted in full force from every pore of every member of this band.
Final Thought: Buy this album. It's worth the $13 you could probably find it for at some local CD shop. Through The Eyes of The Dead has managed to blow my mind and I believe you should have your mind blown by this band to. Now go, have fun.
