Onesidezero Reunite with Guitarist
PR reports: Onesidezero have announced the addition of original guitarist, Brett Kane, to the group for select tour cycles. Kane has re-joined the band, along with guitarist Colin Crow, who will be filling in on the West Coast tour dates currently underway.

"It's great to be jamming with Brett again. He's a huge part of our sound and is a great performer," says drummer Rob Basile. "I've missed his random noises and trippy affects. He also never fails to give the worst "stink eye" if someone trainwrecks at a show! As for Colin, he's an old friend and former member of the band Allergic. It's been a pleasure having him jam with us, and it feels like old Onesidezero again! Come check it out!"

"It's been great having Brett back in the band. It's like he never left. One forgets how important his parts are and then realizes how much more depth the song has when he is playing," added bassist Cristian Hernandez. "Colin is a great guitarist. Having Colin in the band is like a breath of fresh air, he's been able to cover all the parts and has even added his own style to them, so it's almost like hearing the song for the first time again." - more on this story

Bon Jovi Give Fan Clubs a Bad Name - A Top Story of 2007
antiMusic reports: For the rest of the year we are going to be looking back at most read articles from the past year. Today we feature the biggest story from October, in fact one of the most read stories this year, which covered fan anger at changes with the Bon Jovi fan club and what many saw as the ripping off of the band's most dedicated fans. Here is the story:

Bon Jovi proclaimed with the title of their boxset that their fans can't be wrong but it turns out that in the eyes of the power that be in the Bon Jovi camp that their most loyal fans are often wrong. At least when it comes to critiquing the services they receive after paying $50 to become a member of the band's fan club. Some fans have had enough and started an online petition addressed to Jon Bon Jovi. But you won't hear about it on the message boards within the fan club because those are heavily censored.

The petition reads in part: "We, the disappointed members of Backstage with Jon Bon Jovi, sign this petition after much patience with and tolerance of the new fan club. We believe that the new fan club is not acting in the best interests of its members, in particular: 1. Promises made in exchange for the annual 06-07 membership fee, such as contests and online chats with you, have not been delivered 2. The fees charged for tickets, ticket packages and fan club events are heavily inflated 3. The online ticketing system is unreliable, taking an average time of 2-3 hours to purchase a ticket (comparable to 5 minutes for some other artists) with many issues and grief to fans 4. Local fan club members are unable to get tickets to local shows."

.... We All Shine On: The Legacy of John Lennon and Dimebag Darrell
On December 8, 1980 the world lost John Lennon and twenty-four years later, Dimebag Darrell, guitarist for the legendary metal group Pantera. What makes the loss of these two musicians so inconceivable is the violent way they left this world. - Read the full We All Shine On: The Legacy of John Lennon and Dimebag Darrell review

.... Review: David Shaw - Walkin' on a Wire
If you like your rock a bit on the sandpaper-y side, David Shaw may be your boy. His music is in the AC/DC, ZZ Top vein with vocals that are not too far removed from Billy Gibbons. This CD is jammed with 13 tracks of foot-stompers that probably prove pretty engaging in some sweaty club. (4 stars) - Read the full David Shaw - Walkin' on a Wire review

.... Review: Brian Kent - Breathe Life
Fans of music from George Michael to Take That will want to hear what Brian Kent has to offer. Brian may not have a distinctive voice like the raspy sound of Rod Stewart, but his voice is pleasant and one that is both recognizable and unforgettable. - Read the full Brian Kent - Breathe Life review
