(Radio.com) Two great classic rockers, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon have joined those paying tribute The Greatest (Muhammad Ali). Dylan called Ali "the bravest, most excellent of men," in a post on his website.
"If the measure of greatness is to gladden the heart of every human being on the face of the earth, then he truly was the greatest," Dylan wrote. "In every way he was the bravest, the kindest and the most excellent of men."
Dylan's regard for Ali can be heard in his 1964 song, "I Shall Be Free No. 10," written after Ali became World Heavyweight Champion for the first time. I was shadow boxing earlier in the day/I figured I was ready for Cassius Clay," he sang. Read Simon's tribute here.
