Alice in Chains Starr Drug Arrest
. Police in Salt Lake City, Utah, pulled over the van he was travelling in after it crossed a central reservation. One officer reported seeing Starr popping pills as he approached the vehicle. When questioned Starr said: "Hey, officer, have you heard of Alice in Chains? I used to be the bass guitarist. We're putting together a new band." He was found to be in possession of twelve pills � six opioid analgesics and six anxiety controllers � without prescriptions.
