TLC Making First New Album in 14 Years
.
(Radio.com) T-Boz and Chilli, two-thirds of iconic girl group TLC, have reunited to work on a new album. TLC's manager Bill Diggins has confirmed that they "have 15 new songs to share soon" and that "the best is definitely yet to come," reported NME. The release will be the first TLC album since 2002's 3D, a eulogy for member Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, who tragically died in a car crash earlier that year. 3D failed to match the commercial success of 1999's FanMail, but served as a suitable goodbye to the group at the time. TLC have been able to make their new album independently after raising over $150,000 from fans through a Kickstarter campaign last year. Read more here.
