AC/DC The Musical
If Paul Stanley and Sebastian Bach can do it; why not Brian Johnson?

Chart Attack reports: Brian Johnson, the man whose screeching pipes provide a voice for AC/DC is in the process of putting this rock opera together with other artists who will help him lift the project off the ground. The project shouldn't come as a huge shock Paul Stanley of KISS and Skid Row's Sebastian Bach have both brought their theatrics to the Broadway stage, and The Who, ABBA, Elton John and Rod Stewart have all created musical and we're sure there's countless other rockers who are just waiting for their chance to shine in Cats or Kiss Of The Spiderwoman.

As we all know, there have been some unlikely duets in the rock world lately Eminem and Elton John, anyone? but none are as surprising as the potential collaboration between Johnson and The Cranberries' leading lady, Dolores O'Riordan. That's right, O'Riordan plans to star in the upcoming musical. There's no word yet on who else will be involved in the project which is co-written by Johnson and composer Brendan Healy although it is set to open in London later this year. - Click Here for the Full Story

More Audioslave
Looks like Audioslave is headed for the studio after wrapping up the Lollapalooza tour this summer.

Blabbermouth/Launch reports: AUDIOSLAVE, currently on the road with the Lollapalooza tour in support of their self-titled platinum debut, have been working on material for their next album during free time backstage and on the bus. "We have a few ideas that we've recorded, you know," bassist Tim C. told Launch. "And that process is starting up again and it's a whole different frame of mind. And we're getting into that frame of mind and so it's going to happen. I'm excited about that. I know the second record is going to be a lot better than this one. We've known each other for years now. We've played together quite a bit. The first record was twenty days and here's the first twenty songs we wrote or whatever."

Lollapalooza will likely be the last time fans will have the chance to see AUDIOSLAVE this year. "I think we're going to make more rock," Tim said in regards to their post-Lollapalooza plans.

Maiden Bumper Cars
Iron Maiden's Nicko McBrain is not only hard hitting with his drums on the stage, but also with his car if you won't let him park.

Chart Attack reports:  The incident supposedly took place outside the Jones Beach Amphitheater where Iron Maiden was performing Saturday (July 26) night. It was reported by Newsday that the attendant refused McBrain entry into the VIP parking lot when he didn't show his identification. The attendant alleges that McBrain threatened to hit him with the car if he didn't get out of the way. McBrain reportedly moved forward and hit the attendant in the legs with the hood of the car, causing him to fall forward and injure his hand. As a result of the incident McBrain has been charged with third-degree assault. McBrain was issued a ticket and went on to play the show that night. He's scheduled to appear in court on September 16. - Click Here for the Full Story
