Daniel Johnston Gets Some Help From His Friends
AP reports: When Nirvana performed "Lithium" at the 1992 MTV Music Video Awards, Kurt Cobain wore a curious T-shirt with a frog logo and the question, "Hi, how are you?"

His new album features covers of Johnston's music with contributions from Beck, Tom Waits, the Flaming Lips and many more plus a second disc of the original recordings. It's titled "The Late, Great Daniel Johnston," and features his tombstone on the cover.

TBS Team With Blink-182 for Video
press release (victory records) reports: Taking Back Sunday teamed up with Blink 182 guitarist/singer Thomas DeLonge for the whirlwind filming of the video for "This Photograph Is Proof (I Know You Know)" on Wednesday, October 26th. DeLonge's debut as a video director came with more than the usual challenges, as Taking Back Sunday flew in for less than 24 hours, midway through their North American tour. With time of the essence, DeLonge kicked into action, presented a meticulous layout of each shot his concept included plenty of energetic live performance combined with some memorable imagery a combination of split screen and live shots. Bassist Matt Rubano commented, "The enthusiasm that Tom brought to this video was amazing. He was able to execute every bit of his treatment in such a great way. He was totally involved and most importantly he kept it fun for us the whole time. Having made so many videos himself, he really knew what he wanted. Tom is also a really fun, positive person to be around." [see full story for photos from the video shoot]- Click Here for the Full Story
