Zetro Explains Exodus
Blabbermouth reports: Former EXODUS frontman Steve "Zetro" Souza has broken his silence with regards to his departure from the group. In the following statement — sent excusively to BLABBERMOUTH.NET — Zetro explains his reasons for leaving EXODUS [excerpt] "I am the sole provider for my family, before ever stepping back in full-time to the band. But I still had to work full-time at my job to support my family. And not to mention taking care of my family and the obligations of being a father.
"My family will always come first. And after my family, my job which pays all the bills was second on my list. And unfortunately my music had to become number three.
"Now understand that 15 years ago, when I had no family, EXODUS was my job, it was number one in my life. A lot has changed in my life since then, and rejoining, and now… And now I must say that these three things have run its course... I'm sorry, but I can only do the first two.[see full story link for the entire statement]- Click Here for the Full Story

Labels Making A Killing From
tinfoil music reports: Record labels are now making more per track with digital music downloads then they are on CDs in stores. Because of this, the minimal margins that a digital music service makes on each track will most likely cause a serious shake down on the digital music industry in five years.
Figures from Apple's US iTunes state that about 62 cents or more go to the record companies while only 4 cents go to support the company selling the music, in this case iTunes. This leaves about 8 cents for the music publisher.
It is also now known that with digital music over CDs, the record companies have doubled their share of the royalties even though the manufacturing cost has gone to almost nothing for digital downloads. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
