Guitar Murder
Blabbermouth reports: The Detroit Free Press is reporing that a Michigan man has been charged with beating his mother to death with a guitar, police said Monday.

Margaret Besola, 53, was found bludgeoned to death in her home early Saturday, Eastpointe police Detective Lt. Leo Borowsky said. Besola's 29-year-old son, Emil Batayeh, was arraigned Monday on a charge of second-degree murder.

"I was scared," Batayeh said, crying, at the arraignment. "I love my mom."

Borowsky said Batayeh's older brother, who lives in the basement of the home, went upstairs shortly after midnight and found his mother and brother arguing. Besola told him not to intervene, and he went to sleep. A few hours later, he came up to get a drink of water and found his mother. The brother called police, who found Besola dead, Borowsky said. GNR Leak Details
Xfm reports: It appear that a new Guns N' Roses track from their ridiculously long awaited new album Chinese Democracy' has been leaked online, sparking rumours that the record may be released in the near future.

The new song entitled IRS' was first played on New York radio station 102.7 WNEW by rock DJ Eddie Trunk last August, but since they stopped it being played there has been no word of any release or new album material from the Guns N' Roses management.

Now however, a version of the track has surfaced online on numerous Guns N' Roses fansites and messageboards. The song includes the chorus "Gonna call the President, Gonna call myself a Private eye, Gonna need the IRS, Gonna get the FBI" and sounds not dissimilar to vintage GNR (albeit slightly less sleazy) despite the fact that singer Axl W. Rose is the only original member left in the band's (ever changing) line up.

Kyuss Rarities Unlikely
Blabbermouth reports: Former KYUSS/current HERMANO singer John Garcia has told Billboard.com that although KYUSS left behind a wealth of rarities, some of which were compiled a few years ago on the import-only "Muchas Gracias", it seems unlikely any more will be released.

"There are so many untitled songs that have never been heard, that I have up in my little crawl space up above my bed," Garcia said. "I don't see those songs coming out anytime in the near future. Everybody's too busy to do stuff like that. It's a job to go back and listen to it, and then if you want to re-record them."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Guns Vs Riley
BW&BK reports:

...Tracii [Guns] has posted the following message in the Live Journal section of the Brides Of Destruction website [responding to an interview with Steve Riley - see full story for that!] ..there was no harsh breakup... I never quit the band. I simply told them to make smart decisions while I was gone. Now they have buried the band deep deep in the dirt... and they continuously lied about things I have said.

Steve Riley stole all of my Indy royalty checks... he has been selling videos and DVDs of the band with me playing and not giving any of the other members a red f***ing cent. I have hired an attorney and the truth will absolutely come out in this case.

After I win the case... I cant wait to sell Steve Rileys house to Nickey Beat for 10 bucks.

People that have the ability to lie at this magnitude should be thrown in jail. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
