Suicidal
Cold |
Audio Aggression reports: Cold frontman Scooter
Ward recently interviewed with the Digital Noise Network. In the interview,
Ward talks about the new album, touring, and switching labels. Perhaps
the most troubling part though, is where he admits the problems he had
been struggling with over recent times.
In another part of the interview, Ward
explained that he was so stressed out that he seriously contemplated suicide:
"At the end of the tour with Evanescence,
I was either am I gonna die or am I gonna live?' Do I wanna die? Yes.
Do I wanna live? I don't know. I went to the beach and contemplated suicide.
I had a gun in my hand and f**kin' sat there and asked God, if there was
one, to show me what the hell give me a sign."

Blink |
punkbands reports: There's some good news
and some bad news about Plus-44, the electronic-tinged side project of
former Blink-182 compadres Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker. First, the bad
news: Despite Internet rumors, Plus-44's debut album won't be hitting stores
in January, according to the band's management.
The good news? Well, just like Barker told
MTV News back in May, the Plus album will see the light of day next summer
(see "Travis Barker Calls His Plus-44 Side Project 'Way Out There' ") ...
which to rabid Blink fans isn't really good news at all. Sorry about that.[see
