. (submitted news) Rocklands, the virtual rock'n'roll republic in South East London is centre of activity for ARTFUL a D.I.Y. Music, Film, Art, Photography non-conventional convention of Entertainment & Exhibition announced this week by Music Tourist Board (i.e. underground rock bands and their friends). ARTFUL happens between October 1st-31st around the UK and will be part of the continuation of the film "Rocklands - Live In New Cross" (which features Bloc Party, Art Brut & more). It launches on Monday night at Camden Barfly (Metro Riots/Corporation:Blend/Lupen Crook/The Bridge Gang) with Electric Six kicking off their Autumn dates at New Cross Venue on September 2nd (an Artful preview show).
