School Shooting
MTV reports: [Not music related but an important story] A Jacksboro, Tennessee, high school student allegedly shot and killed an assistant principal and seriously wounded his principal and another administrator on Tuesday before being taken into custody.

A 15-year-old freshman was arrested in the death of Campbell County Comprehensive High School Assistant Principal Ken Bruce and is also accused of shooting Assistant Principal Jim Pierce, who is in critical condition, and Principal Gary Seals, who has been updated to stable, according to the Campbell County Sheriff's Department. Gigwise reports: R Kelly has launched a fresh lawsuit against Jay Z � for a staggering $16million � over the alleged pepper spray attack last year.

DiS reports: Green Day were surrounded by screaming fans at the premiere of their new DVD in Leicester Square yesterday evening.

DMBQ Drummer Killed
Aversion reports: Mana "China" Nishiura, drummer for DMBQ, was killed in a roll-over accident while her band traveled between two tour dates.

Nishiura was killed when DMBQ's van was involved in a roll-over accident while traveling on I-95 in Delaware while en route from Baltimore to Brookyln. Also severely injured in the wreck was Michelle Cable of Panache magazine.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Digital Lennon
FMQB reports: While The Beatles' catalog still remains missing from digital music stores, John Lennon's solo work is set to be released to all online retailers in a few weeks. The new Lennon greatest hits compilation, Working Class Hero, was already made available on the Web as of this week. His entire solo catalog will then be put online starting December 6 in the U.S. (and the day before in the U.K.). U2 Killers
Gigwise reports: Killers front man Brandon Flowers joined U2 on stage during their performance in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Blabbermouth reports: BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi told Launch he is not happy that SABBATH are not yet inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. "I'm pissed off about that," he said. "I think that's... you know, I don't normally go round blowing our own trumpet saying we are this and we are that. I'm not that kind of person but I really think we deserve... you know, to be in that. Because without us that kind of music wouldn't have existed. Edguy Suicide Hoax
Blabbermouth reports: EDGUY frontman Tobias Sammet has rejected Internet reports that he has committed suicide. In a posting on the band's official web site, Sammet writes, "Wow, you turn your computer on, surf the Internet and find out that you're dead before you even realize it yourself. I just felt a little cold and wondered why people around seemed to not pay attention to me anymore. But I'd never thought in a million years that it's THAT serious. However, I am alive and well and it's only the second time this year that people think I'm dead. If I had died, I would let you know, don't worry.
