Nugent
Vs Osbournes |
KNAC reports: According to Contactmusic.com,
outspoken rocker Ted Nugent is defending controversial comments he made
about reality TV family "The Osbournes," insisting Sharon Osbourne should
be held accountable for celebrating domestic chaos. He touched a nerve
when he slammed The Osbournes for presenting the worst of family life on
TV. But, despite criticism and comeback from Osbourne herself, Nugent is
refusing to back down.
He says, "I was condemning the celebration
of chaos, the celebration of anti-parenting. I think it's absolutely an
indictment to the soullessness of our society when we can find humour or
something entertaining about a family that has no discipline, that celebrates
crime and smoking dope and getting drunk. I think it's absolutely putrid."

been offered vast sums to reform Led Zeppelin. I would never do it anyway.

Vanishing
Bass |
BW&BK reports: Bassist Joe Del Mastro
from Australia's VANISHING POINT has issued the following band update at
the band's website regarding his decision to leave the band:
"Hi everyone. I am writing to let you all
know that I am leaving Vanishing Point. My reasons are personal and it
was a decision that I needed to make. Lately I've noticed my life going
in a different direction. I felt a lack of passion and drive that I once
felt for the band. Vanishing Point needs a member who shares the same vision
and future goals. I felt it was the best thing to do for myself but more
importantly for the future of Vanishing Point.[see full story for more]-
