Contact Music reports: THE ROLLING STONES have enraged their support band KASABIAN by insisting they should pay $280 (GBP150) each for a ticket if they want to watch them after their slot. The CUTT OFF stars admit the BROWN SUGAR hitmakers probably have nothing to do with the decision, but they are not impressed. Kasabian frontman TOM MEIGHAN says, "It's quite incredible. Blabbermouth reports: DEEP PURPLE singer Ian Gillan has announced the lineup of musicians that will join him on his North American dates in support of his new album, called "Gillan's Inn". They are as follows:

Randy Cooke - Drums
Rodney Appleby - Bass 
Michael Lee Jackson - Guitars
Dean Howard - Guitars
Joe Mennonna - Keys, Tenor Sax

Gigwise reports: Kylie Minogue is battling the eBay.com tout trade head on by insisting tickets for her comeback shows bought on the black market be cancelled.

Solo Stroke

Gigwise reports: Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr is releasing his debut solo album in 9 October - but it looks like it will only be available in the UK.

Big Blue Ball

Yahoo reports: It's taken 15 years, but Peter Gabriel has finally completed the "Big Blue Ball" album, a multi-artist project that started during a series of sessions at his Real World studios in the early 1990s.

PR reports: West Virginia's forward-thinking thrashers BYZANTINE have confirmed a string of regional tour dates with Indiana thrashers Demiricous. The band offers this update on its recent activity, and is planning on unveiling new music while out on the road in September: 

"We've been writing the new album this summer so we can record it this winter. But, the truth is we missed being out on tour, so we're going to do this small run then finish writing. CelebrityWeek reports: The man behind 'NSync, Britney Spears and The Backstreet Boys has a more appropriate name for this summer's biggest reality show - America's Got No Talent. "Their biggest mistake was not calling me," producer Lou Pearlman tells us (only partially tongue in cheek). "I would have sent them some real talent. Okay, maybe I wouldn't have shared a whole lot, but I could have sent them enough to upgrade their show."
