Loser Dears

(CMJ) The Dears are set to unleash the follow-up to their breakthrough 2004 release No Cities Left. Despite titling their new one Gang Of Losers, the band is being less than self-depricating when it comes to chatting about the record. Frontman Murray Lightburn says on the band's MySpace page, "We are really proud and are very much looking forward to everyone playing the crap out of it. As clich�d as this may sound, it's by far the 'best work we've ever done.'" He also goes on to mention the presence of horns and mellotrons, but that the record will be more of a "stripped down, raw affair."
