Good Charlotte Fight
MTV reports: First it was former Panic! at the Disco bassist Brent Wilson, who was fired, then threatened to sue his ex-bandmates. Now it's former Good Charlotte drummer Chris Wilson, who left the band last year due to "personal health problems" and has since kept busy manning the kits for Jacksonville, Florida, pop-punkers the Summer Obsession. When his departure from GC was announced, it was followed by the de rigueur "we love him and wish him well" statement from his bandmates. Wilson contends those sentiments were less than sincere, given the actions of Good Charlotte masterminds Joel and Benji Madden in the year following his split.

"So I've kept my mouth shut for long enough," Wilson wrote on his MySpace page. "It has been roughly a year and a half since my departure from GC, and all I can say is, 'What the f---?' How many times can I possibly get stabbed in the back? I know I f---ed up, and I'm sincerely sorry for what I put you through. But why are you guys acting as if everything is OK? Why don't you start telling the kids about how I never made one cent off of any merch, CDs [or] DVDs, royalties (of songs I played on), publishing (songs I played on) or TV performances (in which I signed contracts stating exactly how much I was supposed to receive). Where did it go?[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Piermont Rocktober Releases
PR reports: Piermont Records is gearing up to release two new records form Motion Commotion and Aspen It Is during October. * All thoroughly educated students of the classical school, the four members of Motion Commotion have varying degrees in music composition, instrumentation, and media from Universities such as the Peadbody Conservatory of Music, John Hopkins, UNC, and SUNY. Now adjoined and based in New York, the quartet's expansive knowledge of traditional theories and methodologies add an unsurpassed level of sophistication to their take on indie-rock compositions. With the addition of electronic backdrops, strings and reeds, tape splicing, counterpoint theory and a multimedia live experience, Motion Commotion's pop inclinations reach out to those with refined tastes and/or appreciation for high tradition within the context of contemporary accessible rock. What's more? The release was engineered and produced Jesse Cannon who's worked with a variety of acts including The Cure and Dillinger Escape Plan. * Nestled within the power-pop nesting ground of New Jersey's townships, Aspen It Is embodies youthful musical appeal. Playing in the vein of some locale's celebrated forerunners, their sound constitutes lock-tight addictive melodies and the safer side of mainstreamed punk influence. Undoubtedly geared towards the young bucks, the band's first full length label backed release is one for ears with a penchant for sugar-coated hooks. Check out the band's at the full story link.- Click Here for the Full Story
