"Some good and some not so good news to share with everyone. First the good. We had a great first week with [the new STATIC-X CD] 'Cannibal'. The album debuted at #36 on Billboard and our shows have been some of the best I can remember. There's nothing like getting back on the road, seeing our friends and getting a chance to share the new songs with you.
"The not so good news is that after our Abilene show, Nick [Oshiro, drums] broke his hand and we've been forced to cancel tonight's show in Dallas. We promise we'll come back through as soon as we can. Nick is doing OK, although he's more than a little bummed that he's going to have to take a break from the tour. We are flying in a temporary drummer and the plan is to be up to speed by Houston on Friday with Nick rejoining the tour as soon as his cast comes off."[see full story for more]
