Suge Knight Arrested
Much Music Reports:
Death Row Records founder Marion "Suge" Knight has been arrested for allegedly punching a parking attendant outside a Los Angeles nightclub, according to Reuters. A spokesperson for the California Department of Corrections said Monday the alleged act might be a possible parole violation.
"Apparently he was upset that his car was not readily available," prison spokesperson Russ Heimerich said of the alleged altercation. "When you get out of prison, you have terms and conditions that you must abide by, and that includes no violence." If Suge Knight is found guilty, the Board of Prison Terms will determine whether to revoke his parole and send him back to prison.

Sans Chad For Santana
Much Music Reports:
When Carlos Santana asked Chad Kroeger to sing a song on his new album, the answer was yes. When Santana recently picked the song "Why Don't You & I" to be the next single off "Shaman" the answer was no. Nickelback's label, RoadRunner Records, refused permission for the release of the single with Chad's voice for political reasons. That was no problem for Carlos, he just called up Alex Band from The Calling to rerecord Chad's parts.
Carlos Santana told Launch there were no hard feelings about the change and that Chad fought to be on the single but was not allowed. Chad then suggested The Calling frontman as his replacement.
