Mission: Impossible 3 Director Quits Over ‘Creative Difference’ - antiTainment NEWS

Your mission should you accept it… find a new director pronto!  Producers of “Mission: Impossible 3” have a new mission as the film nears the end of preproduction—Find a new director.  Director Joe Carnahan ("Narc") quit the production over “creative differences”. 

Carnahan signed on to the film in February of last year, replacing the previous director David Fincher. Paramount Pictures remains optimistic that filming will begin on schedule next month so they can meet the newly pushed back release date target of June 29, 2005. 

Tom Cruise will once again play agent Ethan Hunt for this third installment in the franchise. The film will also feature Scarlett Johansson, Ving Rhames, Kenneth Branagh and Carrie-Anne Moss.
