Love faces up to four years in prison for this latest charge. The charge stemmed from a criminal complaint filed by Kristin King, a friend of Love's former manager/boyfriend, James Barber. King claims that Love assaulted her with a bottle and metal flashlight at Barber�s Los Angeles home "on or about" April 25. Barber is expected to be called as a witness if this case goes to trial. 

Love�s attorney dismissed the allegations of assault, calling the charges �completely bogus�. Love is expected to enter a plea of not guilty at her arraignment on July 9th.
