Although the comments appear to have been presented in a joking manner, Johnson seems to like the idea of entering politics. When asked is he would follow in Schwarzenegger’s political footsteps he responded, "Possibly, you never know. Maybe one day. Absolutely... I talked to Arnold about that, too."
Johnson’s previous foray into politics included appearances at the 2000 Democratic and Republican conventions, where he spoke to encourage people to register to vote.
Johnson was conducting the interview to
promote his new action movie, “Walking Tall”, which hits theatres on April
2nd.
