The Seattle-based metal quintet's ferocious blend of melodic, unrelenting thrash speed mixed with old-school influences resulted in a savage, unique and uncompromising sound that was welcome, refreshing and undeniable. The group continued to carve out their own unique niche in the scene through relentless touring alongside a wide variety of artists from Danzig and Behemoth to As I Lay Dying and Shadows Fall, helping them win over legions of fans worldwide. In 2007, HIMSA are destined to leave their definitive mark on the genre.

In other news, HIMSA have been added to the Century Family's Third Annual Christmas Balls show, which takes place Wednesday, Dec. 13th at The Key Club in Hollywood, CA (USA). The event will also feature the LA based quintet In This Moment and will be headlined by Sweden's Dream Evil, who will be making their American debut and only U.S. appearance of 2006. [That's great news for Himsa since their previous label had a problem with paying their bills]
