The nuptials shouldn't come as a surprise to the fans of both pop singers as Whibley popped the question to Avril back in June 2005 in Venice as Avril was touring Europe. The blessed event took place outside at a private estate in the coastal city of Montecito, California. Reportedly 110 guests were invited to witness the non-denominational ceremony.
For those that actually care about such details, Avril wasn't decked out in a wife-beater and neck tie, instead she reportedly wore a Vera Wang gown. Snooty readers will know what that means.
