(VH1) VH1 pays tribute to the legacy that is Hip Hop with its third annual “VH1 Hip Hop Honors” premiering Tuesday, October 17 at 9 PM ET/PT and hosted by last year’s honoree Ice T. Following the premiere of “VH1 Hip Hop Honors” Ice T will go from Master of Ceremonies to the head of the class with the premiere of “Ice T’s Rap School” airing at 11pm ET/PT it will then move to is regularly schedule time of Fridays at 9 PM ET/PT starting October 20. Remember back in the day when school was all about reading, writing and arithmetic? No more. A group of well-heeled students are getting schooled in a whole new way -- learning how to bust rhymes with one of the world’s greatest rappers. Ice-T invades New York City’s exclusive York Prep on Manhattan’s Upper West Side to teach a class of 7th and 8th graders how to become fresh MCs.
