A pioneer of the "Paisley Underground," Wynn is one of the most widely respected independent rockers of our time. Introduced to The Teenage Prayers at a live performance, he was taken with the band's unique sound, and enthusiastically agreed to produce their next album.
After garnering strong radio airplay for their first album from KCRW, KEXP, WOXY and Minnesota Public Radio in Los Angeles, The Teenage Prayers are on the brink of a major breakthrough, with a national tour in the works and a second album produced by Steve Wynn due out at the end of 2006.
