The "based on a true story" drama entitled 'Comeback' will star Ice Cube as a mentor to his niece using his skills as a former high school football star to help her become the first female quarterback in "Pop Warner" football and according to New York Press "how she inspired her struggling, small town to turn things around."
We won't touch the familiar theme of the film but the production will be begin on November 26th with Ice Cube producing and Durst directing the film for Diminsion Films who hope to release it next year. No word yet if it will be direct to video or in theatres.
