Radiohead Go Indie

(Filter) Major labels go away, Radiohead is looking to do this on their own. According to New York Times.com, the band is close to inking two separate deals to independently release the CD version of In Rainbows.

The first, which would release the disc domestically, will be in conjunction with the music complex, which is run by well known impresario Coran Capshaw. Side One and ATO Records (both owned by Capshaw) will be spearheading the album's domestic distribution.

The second deal would find Radiohead marketing the album internationally through British owned XL Recordings. - more on this story
