"It's an honor to be involved with Cracker Barrel on this project. I can't think of a better combination than Lonestar, Christmas and Cracker Barrel," said Lonestar's Keech Rainwater. "These recordings are a perfect reflection of what Lonestar has evolved into as a group of musicians."
Available in early November, this Lonestar CD, titled My Christmas List, will feature a new sound as Cody Collins joins the band as its new lead singer. From the first moment they heard Collins sing, Dean Sams, Michael Britt and Keech Rainwater believed Collins would be an outstanding addition to the band.
"Cody is such a strong singer and he brings a lot to the table with his vocal ability," said Michael Britt. "His voice has a believable quality to it that draws you in. We wanted to make sure his talent was highlighted in the best way possible and what ended up coming out still sounded like Lonestar music. It's a perfect fit."
In addition to being the exclusive home of the My Christmas List CD, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. ("Cracker Barrel") will be the presenting sponsor of Lonestar's holiday concert tour. The Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Presents Lonestar's My Christmas List tour begins in November.
"Putting this Christmas album together was truly one of the best experiences I have had doing a record in our eleven years recording together," said Dean Sams. "We locked ourselves in my studio for a week and came up with eleven unique, moving arrangements that are guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit!"
