The Secret Show is a free, exclusive performance for the MySpace community. Rise Against and MySpace are asking fans to donate food which will go The Greater Boston Food Bank for entry into the show. The band has also partnered with Peta2 for the show who will be distributing literature inside the show. This is the first ever Secret Show in which MySpace have partnered with a charity. After talking with the band, the program realized this was the perfect band to do this with and an incredible way to kick off the release of their new album.
For their fifth studio album, "Appeal To Reason," Rise Against teamed up with Bill Stevenson (Black Flag, Descendants) and Jason Livermore to record at the Blasting Room in Ft. Collins, CO-- the same production team and studio used for "The Sufferer & the Witness" and "Revolutions Per Minute." First single "Re-Education (Through Labor)" is already a top 5 Modern Rock hit. - Myspace page
