"The Origin of Suffering": I wanted to portray a man at the end of his life, looking back and giving his commentary on the world. I also purposely didn't have any choruses repeat, so that I could tell more of the story. In Buddhism it is a belief that we are all in an endless cycle of suffering, and I wanted to convey that feeling in this song.
