Arsonists Get All The Girls were involved in a van accident while traveling in Oregon yesterday morning. Here's the official word: "This morning at 7am we flipped and totaled our van on highway 84 in Oregon. We are all lucky to be alive with only cuts and bruises. None of us have strong religious beliefs but we feel that of all the days we could have this happen, it happened on Patrick's birthday - it almost seemed as if he was watching over us today." more

Having reprised their live collaboration in Tokyo earlier this year, guitar legends Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck have added three North American concert dates to their plans for February. more

Guitarist Chad Taylor announced to the band's e-mail list that he and bandmates Chad Gracey and Patrick Dahlheimer's relationship with singer Ed Kowalczyk "had grown cold." Bob Dylan is reportedly fuming after critics accused him of making a Christmas covers album as a joke. Dylan's decision to release a disc of his favorite festive hits - called Christmas in the Heart -- left some commentators bemused, and speculating the project is a gimmick. more
