Coldplay Plan Concept Album (Recap)

Coldplay Plan Concept Album was a top story on Tuesday, December 14. Here is our recap: (Gibson) Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has revealed that the band's fifth, full-length studio release will be a concept album. He told BBC News about the as-yet-untitled record.

"It's from the point of view of two people who are a bit lost," he said. "Two like-minded outsiders who meet in a very difficult environment and therefore have a journey together."

Martin said that the sound of the album will be markedly different from the grandiose sounds on Coldplay's previous album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. "It's a concept album but it's supposed to be very personal within a big framework," he said. - more on this story
