(Gibson) Just because MTV doesn't play music anymore doesn't mean there's not tons of live music on television these days. Consider Gibson's weekly feature "Live Wire," your guide to performances, concerts and rock star appearances on the tube. All times are ET.

Live Wire Spotlight Classic Concert: The Who: Live at the Isle of Wight (10 p.m. Friday, VH1 Classic)

This document captures Thee 'oo at the height of their turn-of-the-'70s glory. On August 30, 1970, Pete Townshend and the boys performed at the Isle of Wight Festival, rampaging through live classics like "Summertime Blues" and "My Generation" in the early morning hours. The purveyors of "maximum R&B" also performed their rock opera Tommy in (nearly) its entirety. - See the full list of music on TV for this week at Gibson.com
