Quinn Erwin Wins JanSport Battle of the Bands

As the Grand Prize winner, Quinn Erwin will have the opportunity to share the stage with some of the biggest names in music and play in front of thousands of fans, press and industry reps at the ninth annual Forecastle Festival in Louisville, KY this July 9-11, 2010.

�I'm thrilled and honored to be a part of such an awesome festival,� said Quinn Erwin. �To play alongside some of my favorite bands is incredible. I am so grateful to JanSport for hosting The Battle of the Bands competition and giving an artist like me a chance."

Based in Nashville, TN, singer-songwriter Quinn Erwin has been writing and performing for the past 12 years, working toward creating and perfecting an original sound to bring a new voice to indie folk rock. Whether he is singing about the warm and poignant or the rough and dark, Erwin writes music that makes a difference, giving nods to his influences; particularly artists like Travis, The Frames, Death Cab for Cutie, Genesis and Pete Yorn.
