Nappy Roots Pursuit of Nappyness Coming In June, Ride Out Today

In honor of the release, Tuesday, March 23 their debut single, "Ride," from the forthcoming album will be available on iTunes and everywhere digital music is sold.

Skinny Deville calls "Ride," "a sample of what's to come from The Pursuit of Nappyness." He continues, "The new album features a lot of natural elements like we did on Watermelon, Chicken & Grits. It's acoustic and has that live and organic instrumentation feel to it."

Nappy Roots has teamed up again with producers J and DJ KO of Phivestarr Productions. The signature string-heavy beats of Phivestarr are the perfect complement to Nappy's sound. The Pursuit of Nappyness will be released on NREG /AVJ Records/ Fontana.
