Aimie Laws Rocks Against MS
. After a nine city tour of Bristish Columbia, Aimie Laws along with contributing artists Columbia, Versus The Nothing, Further More, Immaculate, Sasha Lewis, Grim Hymn and the Horrors, Shannon Beth Ireland, Ian Hill and Nicole Comis, she raised $3,645.57 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. All funds raised was from sales of Aimie's ONLY HUMAN album and merchandise, as well as donations collected between May 25th and June 4th. "I am so proud of the artists that joined me on this journey... They all did it for the cause... And didn't care about their own money issues. The support we received from the people we met, and the venues we played was remarkable. I know we accomplished a lot on this tour... The fact that we tripled what I had originally hoped to raise is more than I ever could of hoped to achieve. Education, friends, and some one to make the first step is all we really need these days...Rock 4 MS and the people that we touched and made friends with along the way reminded me of that. It was a very inspiring journey." comments Aimie Laws. There are over 200 new cases diagnosed each week and no known cure, MS affects the lives of many Canadians, so please support the MS Society as donations can still be made here
