Steven Tyler's Costly Habit
. The band came close to collapse two years ago when a drugged-out Tyler fell off stage in the USA, broke his shoulder and forced the Boston giants to cancel their touring plans. In the aftermath his bandmates tried to replace him. Relationships have strengthened since then but at times have strained, especially between Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry. The singer last week admitted the pair going back on drugs killed off their attempts to make an album in 2008. "Left to my own devices I'd probably have been dead several times over by now," he tells People.com. "I snorted my Porsche, I snorted my plane, I snorted my house in a din of drugs and booze and being lost.
