Randy Travis Sobers Up and Is Working On New Music
. The troubled 53-year-old wound up behind bars several times in the past year after multiple booze-related arrests (naked DWI, public intoxication, assault). Now, Randy's lawyer, Larry Friedman, tells TMZ � Travis has acknowledged the problem ... and decided to remove liquor from his life so he could focus on improving his health. "[Randy] works out 3 hours every day and is in the best shape of his life," Friedman says � adding, "He has a high protein diet and takes a lot of vitamins." Besides his new workout obsession, Friedman says Randy was in a recording studio in Texas last week to start laying down some new tracks. more on this story TMZ submitted this story.
